EN10241 Mild Steel Threaded Fittings

Intrinsic® EN10241 threaded pipe fittings conform to EN 10241:2000 (previously BS1740 wrought iron fittings). They are primarily used for steel threaded pipe systems that convey steam, water, air, gas, oil and other non-corrosive fluids and are known for their strength and reliability - particularly in demanding industrial applications.

Typical Applications for EN10241 Mild Steel Fittings

Process Steam Systems

Compressed Air Systems

These fittings are ideal for steam systems operating at pressures of 10 bar or less.

The strength of these fittings makes them suitable for higher-pressure compressed air applications.

Water & Hot Oil Systems

Oil & Gas Industries

They are widely used in hot oil and water applications where temperatures do not exceed typically 230°C.

These fittings are used in the transportation and distribution of liquid or gas including oil and gas pipelines.
