Black Malleable Cast Iron Beaded Fittings

TSP® Black Malleable Cast Iron Pipe Fittings are FM Approved and manufactured to EN10242, the European standard that specifies the technical requirements for threaded pipe fittings made from malleable cast iron and ensures full compatibility with EN10255 steel tube and pipe.

Manufactured from high quality blackheart malleable cast iron that conforms to EN1562 with a self-colour finish, they provide a reliable, durable solution for a wide range of threaded pipework applications including heating and cooling, gas, air conditioning and compressed air systems. Our range of black malleable iron fittings includes elbows, tees, sockets, unions and more, available for UK wide next-day delivery, subject to stock.

Should I choose galvanized or black malleable iron fittings?

Black malleable iron fittings are a cost-effective choice where additional corrosion protection isn't required. Galvanised malleable fittings feature a protective zinc coating, making them better suited to damp and humid environments, areas exposed to condensation, external environments and where increased corrosion resistance is important.

Do you offer beaded or banded fittings?

All our TSP® Black Malleable Iron Pipe Fittings are beaded meaning there is a single raised lip around the body of the fitting. Beaded pipe fittings provide a tight seal and are resistant to mechanical stresses such as bending, torsion and vibration.

Banded fittings have a band of material fitting around the outside to provide extra strength against external forces and impact.
